What is trade mark certificate?

Certification marks are essentially trademarks that are used to certify that the goods or services on which they are affixed comply with certain quality standards prescribed by a certifying entity. Such certifying entities, upon the fulfilment of these quality standards, license the certification mark to be used.

What is the example of certification trademark?

In India, examples of some well-recognized certification trademarks are ISI, WOOLMARK, AGMARK, BIS, and HALLMARK.

What is the validity of trademark certificate?

Validity of Registered Trade Mark.
If the trademark is registered, the applicant can use the R symbol. All registered trade marks are valid for a period of 10 years from the date of application. At the end of its validity, a trade mark can be renewed easily by paying the Government fee for registration.

How much is trademark license?

2700/- per trademark per class, and the professional fee is as per the IP firm.

Who is eligible for trademark?

Any individual who wants to register their unique words or symbols is eligible to file for trademark registration under their own name. However, it is not necessary that they have to do business.

Can I sell my registered trademark?

A trademark sale is possible in India. Through the Trademark assignment process, the owner of a trademark can sell it to any individual or legal body. By doing so, the trademark owner's rights transfer to an individual or entity.
